How do I select Monitor options in the Settings tab?
You can control which activities LightLogger Keylogger monitors by opening the Settings tab and selecting the types of activities you want to monitor. Follow these steps:- Open the LightLogger Admin Panel. (see How do I open and close the LightLogger Admin Panel?)
- Click the Settings tab. The Settings tab opens. Monitor options are displayed in the Monitor options section:
- Select the activities you want to monitor by checking the appropriate checkboxes:
- Select Websites Visited to log all websites visited.
- Select Keystrokes Typed to log all keystrokes typed.
- Select Clipboard to log all text copied to the Windows clipboard.
- Select Programs Run to log all programs run.
- Select Timed Snapshots to have LightLogger make screen captures of the content on your computer monitor at the time interval you select. The screen captures are saved in JPG format.
In the Take screen shot - minutes field, select the interval in minutes at which the screen captures will be taken.
In the Quality - % field, select a percentage to determine the quality of the JPG image. A smaller percentage represents a lower quality and smaller file size.
Note: If you set LightLogger to make screenshots, the folder on your computer holding the screenshots will grow in size over time. One way to keep the size small is to select a long time interval between screen captures and a low quality.
Another way to keep the size of the screenshot folder small is to delete screenshots periodically:- You can delete screenshots when you display them by clicking Show Screenshots in the Log Viewer tab. (see How do I view screenshots from the Log Viewer tab?) Select the screenshots you want to delete. Then right click your selections. From the options displayed, click Delete. Your selections are sent to your computer's Recycle Bin, where they remain stored on your computer unless you delete them again.
- You can delete screenshots completely using LightLogger's Delete Logs button in the Log Viewer tab. For instructions, see How do I delete logs from the Log Viewer tab.
- Select Websites Visited to log all websites visited.
- After making your selections in the Monitor options section, click Apply. Your settings are saved. To reset all settings on the Settings tab to their default values, click Reset to default.
